OUR STAFF
Lynette Emery, MD
Dr. Emery is an experienced Mount Vernon physician who practiced at North Cascade Family Physicians for several years. In addition to Little Mountain Laser, she occasionally works at various local clinics filling in for doctors who are out of the office. Her experience includes full-scope family medicine: obstetrics, office surgeries (including skin), and medical care of all ages and body systems. She is Board Certified and licensed in Washington State, and is an associate clinical faculty member at the UW. On a more personal note, she is a married mother of two young daughters and enjoys time with family, friends, and the outdoors. Her passion for helping people shows through in her work: to help our clients feel as healthy and confident about themselves and their bodies as possible. She performs all of the Botox, Restylane, and Telangitron treatments. She does all of the initial consultations and most of the laser treatments.
Robert McNerney, ARNP
Robert is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and Diabetic Educator. He has always enjoyed helping patients with their skin problems and aging concerns. He is available for medical skin consultations, and for clients who want their procedure done by a male provider. He is available for clients who need appointments outside the "usual" schedule. He has two children and loves motorcycling and playing the bass guitar.
Kara Kisena, Licensed Esthetician - Medical
Kara holds a masters degree from WWU and is an experienced educator. She entered medical esthetics to procedurally help people get healthy, clear skin and learn how to keep it that way. She performs multiple types of laser treatments, microdermabrasion, and assists Dr. Emery in larger procedures. She lives in Bellingham and has three little girls, all who seem to be inheriting her amazing sense of style and caring. She also works at Zazen Spa in Bellingham.
Debbie Peterson, Licensed Esthetician - Medical
Debbie is an experienced medical esthetician who enjoys helping our clients obtain great results and teaching them how to maintain them. She likes the procedural component of her work and the opportunity to learn new technologies. Debbie also works at Esenta Skin and Spa. She has adorable young twins that happily take up much of her personal time. She has a commitment to fitness, family, and friends.
Barbara Yaple, Administrative Assistant
Barbara has lived in the valley for 33 years. She helps part-time with our scheduling, communication, computer data entry, and anything we might need help with. She has twin nine year-old granddaughters who are the light of her life. Barb loves riding motorcycles and canning food, and believes all books are sacred and should be treasured. She owned her own printing plant for 18 years and taught graphic arts at Skagit Valley College -Whidbey. She enjoys being (mostly) retired. We treasure the sweetness, valuable advice and the sense of humor she brings to us.
